changing my life

                            Changing My Life

My life has changed a lot since I came to Tempe in many different ways. First, I had to be more independent in my life, and do every thing by my self. For example, I need to clean, vacuum, and cook every day. In my country my mother and our housemaid used to do all the housework so, it was so difficult for me in the beginning, but now I can say I used for it. Also, I need to pay for my apartment every month. Second, I don’t have my own transportation like my hometown for instance, in my country I had my own driver so, I could go wherever I wanted and any time is flexible for me however, here I  wait for the bus more than fifteen minute or maybe half hour. That makes me so tired and it makes me count my time before I decide to go out because, if the time not enough, I will return without any thing. In addition, the life her is more expensive .For example, the electrics her is expansive, the gasoline her cost a lot, the cable service not free, so I must mange my salary for all my expenses. Finally, here I don’t have relationships like I did in my country; I used to have a lot of friends. They were always with me. We hung out every weekend some times we met in restaurant and other time we met in our houses. In my country when I felt bad my family always supported me and taught me how I dial with my problem, however her I need to fix my mistake by my self. In summary, it’s the time to be stronger from all different ways and to be independent for my self also to know how to live by my self and mange my life .

summary The Bilingual Brain

                                                    The Bilingual Brain

Karl Kim and Hirsch did this research in the united state because when Kim immigrated to U.S he had some difficulty learning English, so he studied  the opportunity to see how our brains adapt to a second language . They looked specifically at two language center in the brain , one is called Wernicke's area , in the rear of the brain . The other is called Broca's area in the left frontal part.
After they did this research they found that we all used Wernick's area no matter what language we speaks , but Broca's area was different for the second language .There are several possibilities for the difference in how children and adults learn a second language . one is that when language is being hard -wired in children , the brain may combine sounds and structures from all languages into the same area . A second possibility is simply that we may acquire languages differently as children than we do as adult.
